A KNOCKOUT DELIVERY: Fitz’s Fish Ponds Delivers Koi to Jake Paul

The team at Fitz's Fish Ponds, accompanied by The Koi Partner, Yvo De Wal, embarked on an epic journey to deliver a selection of stunning koi fish to boxing phenomenon Jake Paul at his lavish mansion in Puerto Rico, Fitz met up with Nic from Infinity Aquariums, who recently completed an incredible aquarium for Jake as well as the formal pond that has become home to the koi.

Delivering Jake Paul’s Handpicked Koi, Including a Special Gift

The Fitz’s Fish Team began catching and bagging the koi early in the morning. Koi are able to be in the bags when shipped for up to 48 hours, so the 24 hour journey they ensued to get to Jake’s house in Puerto Rico left them unstressed and in perfect condition.

Jake selected 11 koi and through conversations explained the varieties he was most interested in. Among the chosen koi were a Kohaku, Showa, Doitsu Goromo, Doitsu Kogane Ochiba, Ki Matsuba, Ginrin Ki Utsuri, Doitsu Ochiba, Doitsu Karashigoi, Ginrin Karashigoi, Ginrin Butterfly Kin Showa and a special request for his favorite variety which was a Butterfly Platinum Ogon. In addition, Fitz found out that Jake’s favorite colors are black and white therefore he decided to provide Jake with the perfect gift: A black and white Doitsu Shiro Utsuri from Hiroi koi farm.  

With the koi fish carefully packed, the team at Fitz's Fish Ponds prepared for the trip to Puerto Rico. The precious cargo was labeled with an air-tag to ensure their safety and so Fitz could track them on the way to Puerto Rico. They met Nic from Infinity Aquariums at customs to go through the necessary paperwork for the koi.

Once everything was squared away, Nic, Yvo and Fitz loaded the koi into a van and made their way to Jake’s house- the “Taj Ma Paul”.

Upon arriving at Jake Paul's mansion, the team was greeted by the enthusiastic boxer himself, who eagerly awaited the arrival of his new koi companions. Each koi fish was acclimated to the water temperature of the pond before being gently released into their new environment. Fitz explained this process to Jake and he even assisted in the process as well!

Jake Paul expressed his gratitude and excitement for the arrival of the koi fish, marveling at their beauty and elegance as they explored their new surroundings.
